Exactly where I need to be (Poem)

I'm exactly where I need to be
The pain that I feel is
Just what I need to feel
To become who I need to become
To meet my destiny

The place where I need to go
Is on the other side of
A long dark tunnel
I must brave the darkness
To get to the life I deserve

I must undertake this journey
Without letting fear and doubt
Hold me back, I must go on
Without getting tangled in
The web of what-ifs

Giving up is not an option
I owe it to myself
To persist and beat the odds
So I must keep pushing forward
No matter how hard it is

Until I reach that beautiful place
Where I can rest for a while
Soak in the beauty
Look back upon my struggles
And celebrate how far I have come
